That Chinese prom dress again

So, quickly, the girl's mother says that the thing in the photo where they're doing the praying hands thing was from some sort of internet meme. That make more sense than all the girls doing this to celebrate another girl's prom dress.

And now the people of Communist China are weighing in. They like the dress and are pleased the girl wore it. A Chinese fashion blogger said that there was nothing sacred about the dress. If you see a woman in China wearing one, she's probably either a waitress or a bride.

But I can see why reactions would be different in China where ethnic Chinese obviously aren't a minority.
