Larry Cohen had died at 77.
My first memory of his work was when I was in junior high school. I was a seventh grader. I listened to some older kids talking about
It's Alive, about a killer mutant baby. One kid had seen it and was regaling his friends with the plot. I was sitting across the room from him. He was talking loud. He must have wanted everyone to hear. But he turned and glared at me and wanted to know what I was looking at.
