Clerks

I'm sitting here watching Clerks. It's not bad. Filmed mostly static camera medium shot. Black and white. I wonder how digital video would have affected the end results. Would the filmmakers have taken advantage of electronic image stabilization and filmed it all handheld? Would they have gotten carried away with the magic of nonlinear digital editing?

I heard the original ending had the clerk getting killed in a robbery. I wish they'd kill that other guy. I say that only because he's a fictional character. I don't want real people killed just for being obnoxious.

I finally watched Slacker but can't remember what I thought about it.
