Well, I guess Johnny Depp is becoming washed up.

I knew he'd been throwing away vast amounts of money on stupid things a la Nicolas Cage. Then there was the wife beating, the lawsuits from former employees including bodyguards who had to tell him when he had controlled substances on his face and try to conceal his condition from the public.

He made over $650 million a year and spent it all on crap.

Well, that's fine. Look what happened to Nicolas Cage---his money problems sparked a bold new phase of his career. Depp could follow in his footsteps, or do something even bolder, like flee the country to escape his debts. He could be the Roman Polanski of debt, unable to return to the United States but continuing to work in one or two select countries.
