"To Bruce’s amazing
supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has
been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed
with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of
this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career
that has meant so much to him."
Willis's career had taken an odd turn, appearing as a day actor in
low budget staight-to-video action films. Now we know why, poor devil.
From Showbiz411:
These releases began around 2015. But even then, with real movies,
directors were covering up for him. In M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass” from
2019 you can see it: Bruce barely speaks, and is shot often in cameo or
silhouette.
Willis had been cast in Woody Allen's Cafe Society (2015) and had to be replaced by Steve Carell.
